Main features

The IVI portal, mobile website, and patient app have been designed to offer a comprehensive, innovative online service throughout the entire treatment process.

The project has been developed using multi-device technology so that users can access IVI's services through any of the devices they use on a daily basis: PCs, tablets, and smartphones running any operating system (iOS, Android, Windows, MAC, Linux).

The portal and app incorporate advanced features that allow users to interact continuously with IVI throughout the clinic-patient relationship.

Features available to patients:

  • Booking your first visit to the clinic, choosing the doctor, day, and time that suits you best.
  • Management and scheduling of all other appointments throughout your treatment.
  • The patient has a medication calendar (if needed) with clear instructions on days, times, quantities, and helpful video tutorials on how to administer it.
  • The user has information about the IVI team of professionals who are treating them.
  • IVI clients can consult financial and administrative information and manage their quotes, payments, and invoices.
  • It is possible to monitor the treatment: medical reports and records, clinical results, test progress, etc. through the portal and the mobile application.
  • Includes online payment by credit card
  • Location of clinics, location of the nearest one, and how to get there

In addition, users will have access to detailed information to learn more about IVI:

  • IVI's audited results, with its treatment success rate
  • Treatments and prices.
  • Possible techniques to be used in each case (vitrification, Embryoscope, ICSAI, MACS).
  • Units available at the clinic (outpatient surgery, women's health, endocrinology, psychology, etc.)
  • Calculator for treatment financing options.

Technology used in its development

  • The web portal is based on HTML5 and GWT with J2EE technology, and its architecture ensures significant redundancy and scalability capabilities. GWT minimizes the number of transactions between client and server, improving the user experience and reducing the number of servers required. Responsive web design has been used to ensure compatibility and functionality with the latest versions of the most popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, and Safari).
  • The smartphone and tablet app is based on HTML5, GWT, and Cordova. Development is multi-platform and supports Android 4.0 or higher and iOS 6 or higher.

Systems integration. This advanced portal and mobile app system for communication between clinics and patients works thanks to its integration with the various systems used at IVI:

  • ERP system for accessing financial information
  • Document management system for providing access to patient documentation
  • Clinic management system for appointment and treatment services
  • Content management system for the IVI website for accessing public information about clinics and treatments.
