The project entrusted to vBote consisted of the design, development, and deployment of the new web portal and app for FEMEVAL and its associations. Evolving towards a model that responded to new digital trends and enhanced usability, it was characterized by its intuitiveness through the use of images, colors, icons, infographics, simplicity in organization, and an improved content structure strategy.

The project requirements were to increase visibility through positioning, optimize the user experience in web browsing, encourage interactivity with calls to action, ensure accessibility, and arrange content in an intuitive and prioritized manner.

Responsive and multi-device design of the website was essential to make it accessible and usable on different devices (computers, tablets, mobile phones), with a greater presence of different formats, such as photographs, videos, digital magazines, etc.

The main objective has been to provide member companies with up-to-date communication tools, with easy access to the information they need to manage their business, while automating and simplifying their relationship with FEMEVAL through an improved digital experience.

With the aim of providing greater value to member companies, there is restricted access content and sections in the Personal Area, which require a user login and password. In the Personal Area, it is possible to view all mass mailings sent to the user (circulars, newsletters, courses, conferences, regulations, etc.).

The Femeval.es portal contains mini-sites for the associations, and each one also has a Private Area, which is only visible if you have entered your username and password and have permission to do so as a member of the association.

In addition to the public and private areas with information about Femeval and its associations on the portal and in the mobile app, the solution includes the web content management system or administration area, where content management is carried out: pages, courses, conferences, files, SEO tools are configured, page templates, workflows, and the mailing tool are managed.

Project technology

The web portal has been developed on the Magnolia CMS open source platform. This is a content management system based on Java and HTML5 for the user interface. Magnolia CMS allows for the separation of structure, content, and presentation interface.

The app is developed with multi-platform technology, so that a single source code allows the creation of applications for iOS and Android, achieving a short time-to-market and simplifying maintenance and management of updates.

The necessary integration with the ERP has been achieved through web services and database synchronization.
